Vision Worship

Our aim is that worship at Vision be Christ-exalting, cross-focussed, Biblically true and Spirit-led.  

We desire that the manifest presence of the Lord would be known in our midst. Nothing less will do as we want to know, welcome, and honour the One who is worthy - King Jesus - and have Him find a resting place among us. This is our priority and all other things flow from this. 

Because of that, as a church we place a high priority on worshipping the Lord together. We believe that we were created to worship (Isaiah 43:21; 1 Peter 2:9), and that our highest call and privilege is to live our lives as an offering of worship to the Lord – so that He would be glorified, and so that His Name would be known in the earth.

Through the songs being written by our songwriters, we seek to bring fresh, heartfelt expressions of worship that honour and proclaim who the Lord is and all He has done. We are thrilled to share some of these songs with you and pray that they would lead you to encounter the Living God, and draw you more deeply into worship!

‘Who is this King of Glory?’  

Almost a thousand years before Christ’s coming, the Psalmist - David - penned this question. It is a question whose answer framed David’s life. Whether out in the field or as the ruler over all of Israel, his was a life of humble adoration and passionate pursuit – all for this ‘King of Glory’. 

But why? Who could possibly yield such a response even from a man of such standing and authority as David? Who is this King of Glory? 

This is a King merciful and mighty - the Lion of the tribe of Judah, almighty and all powerful. Yet, also the pure, spotless Lamb who was slain to atone for the sins of the world.

This is a King who is Holy - completely set apart and other, who is worthy of everything and who alone has supremacy; the One to whom all knees will bow. Yet, who also delights to reveal Himself and make Himself known - welcoming the broken, the sinners, the lost and hurting.  

This is a King who left His throne of glory, humbling himself to take on flesh and give His life upon a cross - bearing the sin, shame and punishment of humanity, so that in return humanity could know the life, hope, peace, forgiveness, freedom and joy He offers, in the greatest of all exchanges. 

Who is this King of Glory? He is a King unlike any other. He is the Lord, strong and mighty. His Name is Jesus.  

He is the King above all kings! 

We pray that these songs would lead people to the place of encountering Jesus, and responding to Him in worship so that He would have His rightful place in hearts and lives.

Greatly to be Praised [EP] (2021)

Words will never adequately capture all that God is, or all that He has done. And simply adding drums, keys, and guitars behind those words won’t change that (after all, we are human, and He is an infinite God!). But that didn’t stop King David from pouring his heart out in song. It didn’t stop Paul and Silas from praising in the inner prison cell. And it shouldn’t stop us. Worship is what we were created for. 

When we lift our voices together to declare God’s unfathomable greatness, significant things happen: perspectives shift, lives change, hearts are softened, the enemy is thwarted, and His Kingdom is brought near on Earth.

We pray that these songs would cause you to lift your voice afresh; to declare the greatness of who God is, and to praise His holy name. He alone is greatly to be praised.

Acoustic Sessions (2020)

These songs were recorded during the COVID pandemic of 2020, with a desire to point us as God’s people towards Him and help set our hearts to worship. It’s when we worship, that our eyes are lifted towards the One who is greater than all, and our perspective is made right. 

We are called to be a people who live with right perspective - a deep conviction, trust and confidence that God is able, that He is faithful and that He is true. We are called to be a people who respond rightly to the Lord - who He is and all He has done - by giving Him the glory, honour and praise. We are also called to be a people who, through it all, remember that Jesus, our Wonderful Saviour, remains faithful, unchanging, victorious, and the conquering King who is coming again!

But God…[single] (2019)

We believe that for every hopeless situation, for every impossibility and for all our sin and shame, there is a ‘but God’ story waiting to be written! His grace is beyond what our hearts and minds can fathom, and He has brought us from darkness to light and from death to life through Jesus! In response to this miracle of grace that God has freely poured out, what else could we do but live our lives to bring Him praise? This song was written for the Light & Life Youth Conference in 2019, based on Ephesians 2:1-10.

 God Break Through (2017)

God Break Through is the second live worship album from Vision Worship. It is our hope and prayer that 'God break through' would in fact become the prayer and cry of His people - and that we would see God breaking through in every area of our lives, city and nation, bringing His healing, freedom, restoration and transformation.

Our prayer is that these songs would draw people more deeply into worship and into an encounter with the One for whom nothing is impossible.

Faithful One (2016)

Faithful One is the first live worship album released by Vision Worship. As a church, we are firmly anchored in the truth that God is good and that He is always faithful. The songs captured on this recording flow from that place - declarations of both the faithfulness of God and the triumph and victory of the cross, as well as heartfelt expressions of praise and the cry for God to move in power and pour out His Spirit. We pray that these songs would draw people deeper in their pursuit of the Faithful One.
