The Raising Of Lazarus From The Grave

Adam Ritchard | John 11:1-48; Psalm 16:9-10, 73:23-25, Job 19:25-27; 1 Corinthians 15:19; Ephesians 2:1-10 — In this the seventh of Jesus' miraculous signs recorded in the Gospel of John, Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead after 4 days in the grave. This miracle illuminates Jesus' ways which are far beyond our understanding; His words which reframe our perspective; His heart which righteously angers at the evil of sin; and His invitation to each of us that carries the fullness of life. As we behold the signs of Jesus, may the intent of John's Gospel be fulfilled - may we believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and in doing so receive life in His name.
