His Greatest Work From The Greatest Darkness

Andrew Baker | John 19:1-30; 1 Corinthians 2:2; Acts 2:23 — As we dwell upon Jesus' crucifixion, we see that God was not absent in the darkness of Good Friday. Out of the greatest darkness came His greatest work: from a place of greatest depravity came the greatest redemption; from the deepest sin came the fullest grace; from the ultimate rejection came complete reconciliation. What comfort it is to know that our God is not absent from our sin, shame, suffering, and brokenness. He is revealed in their very midst.
