A Spirit-Empowered Boldness

Adam Ritchard | Acts 4:13-31; 2 Timothy 1:7 — What creeds, confessions, and prayers defined the early church? What shaped and sustained their faith in Jesus in a hostile world? In Acts 4, we see the early church respond to the persecution of Peter and John in prayer. But instead of asking for protection or ease, their request to the sovereign God of all is for boldness, to continue proclaiming His word through the challenge that they're facing. May we have this same heart attitude, receiving this Spirit-empowered boldness to proclaim who He is, to hold fast, and to live lives that bear witness to His glorious name.
