As believers, it is vital for us to have a deep sense of awe and reverence for God. The importance of the fear of the Lord can be clearly seen all throughout Scripture and David’s prayer in 1 Chronicles 29:10-13 paints a wonderful picture of a life lived in reverence, and one submitted to the Lordship and authority of God. In our lives today, there is a call for right revelation of who God is, there is a call for re-calibration of our hearts, and there is a holy invitation into more of the Lord. When the fear of the Lord has its proper place in our lives the Lord will have His rightful place.
